Bible Reading Completion Times
Whole Bible
The way to do this is to break the reading into sections. Read say 10 chapters, at 4 times per day, and that 40 chapters. I found it very convenient to make it around meals. So before I eat, 10 chapters, after the meal, 10 chapters. Than the same for dinner and you just read 40 chapters and it does not take much time. 40 chapters is a wonderful number to aim for, you finish the Bible about once a month.

Divided by Chapters

• 10 chapters a day, 119 Chapters in a section, 10 Sections.
10 Sections (Most 119 Ch) / 10 Chapters a day.
1) Genesis – Numbers 2
2) Numbers 3 – 1 Samuel 2
3) 1 Samuel 3 – 1 Chronicles 19
4) 1 Chronicles 20 – Job 40
5) Job 41 – Psalms 117
6) Psalms 118 – Isaiah 35
7) Isaiah 36 – Ezekiel 31
8) Ezekiel 32 – Matthew 23
9) Matthew 24 – 1 Corinthians 9
10) 1 Corinthians 10 – Revelations 22 (118 Ch)
The benefit of this system is that you read sections in almost equal amounts, giving you equal review on all the Bible instead of reading the Old Testament History Section for example which may take 4 months while the book of Acts only takes you 28 days. Also, once you finish a section, you should begin the next section, so you basically read through the Bible, and still have flow. Another benefit is you are creating waves, you finish Genesis and so forth, and then start the next section and start over back at Genesis. This keeps happening with each section. Therefore, you keep rereading the Bible, while having the flow.
